Privacy

Golden Goat respects the privacy of our customers. No information you enter on our website will be shared with outside companies or mailing lists unless you agree to it. All personal information you enter in our database is kept for the purpose of allowing you to check your account status, and for our own internal mailing list so that you may receive notifications about your account or special promotions that Golden Goat is offering.

A Word about Cookies: 

Golden Goat’s website features cookie technology. A cookie is a small file that is placed on your computer so that while you are logged into the site, you can save different items in your shopping cart. The cookie expires once you have left the site or closed your browser. 


Note: Your shopping cart items will not be saved unless you are logged in.

Security: 

All credit card transactions are handled using SSL (Secure Socket Layers) and Thawte to guarantee the security of your personal information. To check if you are on a secure site, make sure that the URL in the address bar starts with https://www.goldengoat.com. This will be the case at the time of checkout to protect your personal information.

Returns and Exchanges
All merchandise is guaranteed to be fresh and should be inspected immediately upon arrival. Credit will not be granted if unsatisfactory items are discarded or partially consumed. Please keep all packaging intact for returns. All claims must be made within twenty-four hours of receipt of shipment and a return authorization code will be issued. No returns will be accepted without this code. Once claim is received and accepted by Golden Goat, we will automatically reship merchandise. Please keep all packaging intact for any returns.

Sales Tax
All Golden Goat’s perishable goods are tax-free.

Gift Orders
Golden Goat now offers the added features of a gift card and gift wrapping for any item you order. When ordering, you will be prompted whether would like these services. Addresses for your gift recipients can be stored in your online account address book for future shipping reference. You can edit this information at any time by logging into your account.

Gift Cards:

Gift cards may be up to 100 characters long.

Gift Certificates:

Paper gift certificates are available for sale through our web site. Golden Goat gift certificates may now be redeemed through our website, they are internal validated by Golden Goat before being credited for the order.

To order a Gift Certificate:

You may order a gift certificate just as you would any other gift item from our web site. The minimum amount of a gift certificate is $25. A paper gift certificate will be mailed to the recipient return receipt at no added expense.

To Redeem a Gift Certificate:

You will be asked to redeem your gift certificate on the cart detail page when checking out. In both cases, you are asked to provide a credit card number and we ask that you please mail in your gift certificate within 14 days of your order. If we do not receive your gift certificate within that time frame, your credit card will be charged.


- Gift certificates are directly redeemable through our catalog, restaurant, and boutique.

- Gift certificates must be redeemed in their full amount or more.

- Gift Certificates are redeemable only at Golden Goat owned and operated facilities.

Shipping
Charges:

Any order containing perishable products (e.g. caviar) will be shipped via: FedEx Priority Overnight for $35 per shipping address. NOTE: Items shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico will have an extra $15 charge.

Delivery Requirements:
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot deliver to P.O. boxes under any circumstances. FedEx requires a signature for all deliveries and will not leave a package without one. If you would like FedEx to leave the package without a signature, please be sure to check the “Permission to leave package without signature” box below where you choose the delivery date.

Orders must be placed between Monday to Wednesday before 2pm EST to be processed for next day delivery. All orders received after 2pm on a Wednesday will be processed the following Monday.

Due to shipping limitations, we are unable to ship packages for delivery on the following holidays or the day thereafter: New Year’s Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas.
